“I work as a mediator to create peace in the world – between individuals and in the community – through conflict resolution and training.”
Felicia Staub has a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania. She trained in mediation and conflict resolution at the Dispute Resolution Centers (DRCs) in Washington State. She is a Senior Mediator and is certified with the Washington Mediation Association, as well as having endorsements in family and victim/offender mediation and expertise in parent/teen mediation. Felicia is a seasoned trainer, presenting trainings in conflict resolution, mediation, communication skills, and related topics since 2000 for many groups, including universities, Native American tribes, government agencies, private businesses, community members, and federal prison inmates. Having worked for the DRC of Yakima & Kittitas Counties for five years as their Coordinator of Mediators and Trainings, she created, organized, and presented trainings, trained and supervised a pool of 40 plus volunteer mediators, coordinated the small claims mediation program, did case management, and mediated many cases. She brings extensive experience, tremendous dedication, great organizational skills, and a lot of creativity to her work.
