Dr. Gigi Hamilton practices as an Organizational Psychologist, and a Licensed Psychotherapist specializing in improving all things relationships. Dr. Hamilton has spent over 20 years of her career working to enhance relationships for individuals, couples, military personnel, professional athletes, and business executives to help everyone reach their greatest level of performance.
Dr. Hamilton specializes in helping families, leaders, and organizations manage, and improve communication via conflict resolution techniques designed to foster healthy work relationships while improving the work environment. She has focused research on utilizing emotional intelligence and transformational leadership techniques to increase leadership effectiveness within organizations. Dr. Hamilton has proudly held the position as the President of the Licensed Professional Counselor Association of North Carolina. She has authored several wellness books to include Let the Marriage Begin, The Marriage Blueprint, and My Comfort Tree, to name a few. Dr. Hamilton is often sought after to speak about motivational, organizational and wellness topics within the United States. She has served in the United States Army where she provided counseling services to military service members and their families.
As a proud graduate of Leadership Charlotte Class 40, Dr. Hamilton has dedicated her time to create macro-level change within the community by utilizing her very own trademarked behavioral change process along with other psychotherapeutic tools and organizational psychology models to influence advancement for all. Dr. Hamilton utilizes researched-based, historical constructs to address transgenerational issues that have an impact on individuals’ lives today. Dr. Hamilton is a member of American Talent Development, Employee Assistance Professional Association, and the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology. She teaches as an Associate Professor to help students become Licensed Professional Counselors at Northwestern University.
Dr. Hamilton is a licensed professional counselor, with a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership from The Chicago School of Psychology.
