Since 2013, Keisha Stoute has mediated business and contract disputes, consumer disputes, replevins, landlord-tenant issues and evictions, torts, custody and divorce disputes, and conflict in workplace settings.
As a result of her hard work and dedication, she has gained a respectable reputation, as a non-attorney mediator throughout Chicago. She began her mediation experience at the Lake County Small Claims Mediation Program at the 19th Judicial Circuit Court in Waukegan, IL.
Since 2013, Keisha has mediated 200+ cases with a success rate of 85 percent and has received judicial and attorney recommendations for her outstanding work. Keisha has two certifications in mediation from the Center for Conflict Resolution (CCR), Chicago: Mediation Skills Training (2012) and Custody & Divorce Domestic Relations (2013). She has been featured in the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin in May, June, and October of 2013. In November 2015, Keisha was featured in the CBS Chicago Small Business Pulse for, mediation and consulting. From 2017-2018, Keisha wrote articles on healthy business relationships and managing conflict for Mindflash, a start-up tech company in Silicon Valley.
Keisha holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Bennett College in Greensboro, NC and a master’s degree in Professional Counseling from the Illinois School for Professional Psychology, Argosy University, Chicago. She completed her graduate practicum counseling couples, families, children and adolescents from various socioeconomic groups. Her employment history of 14 years of business experience includes; leadership and director-level positions in the non-profit sector and to large healthcare facilities. While in leadership, Keisha implemented effective policies and procedures for productive work environments, mentored employees, and successfully completed turn around initiatives. She also has experience working with unions. Keisha encourages clients to have conversations that matter across various industries and helps to create improved outcomes.
She also serves as an adjunct professor at Robert Morris University since 2012, and Saint Xavier and Dominican Universities respectfully.
