“Viktor Frankl’s quote from his book, Man’s Search for Meaning, deeply resonates with me:
‘Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom.’
What better quote is there for engaging in the work of conflict resolution? As someone who strives to be a peacemaker in all facets of life, it is my goal to help others find this space and guide them to respond instead of react. Such action leads us all to greater creativity and inclusion in our decision-making and the result is, as Frankl notes, greater growth and freedom.”
