Alice Shikina, Pollack PeacebuildingGeneral Overview

Alice uses her theater/acting training skills in her mediations, negotiations, and facilitations. She has learned how to read people through nuanced body language, tone, language, and emotion. When resolving conflicts between parties, Alice creates an environment where each party is heard, emotions remain calm and there is a clear understanding between all parties. She listens very deeply and guides parties to be able to listen deeply as well, as they go through this process. Alice also uses her gentle and calm energy to bring more peaceful energy into the negotiations. She listens not only with her ears but with all of her senses to ensure that the participants are feeling comfortable and heard.

Alice is passionate about bringing peace to this world one conflict at a time.

Business Experience

Alice mediates divorces, business separations, workplace conflict, landlord/tenant issues, and family conflicts. She also sharpens entrepreneurs with negotiation and sales skills through her Negotiation Academy. Alice is tireless in her quest to help others. In her free time, she teaches Conflict Transformation in the jails to the incarcerated. She is currently the chair of the Conference Committee for the Academy of Professional Family Mediators and is planning the annual 2022 APFM conference.
