General Overview
Renata’s peacebuilding work centers around supporting community cohesion, decision making, and effective problem by using the power of facilitation. Facilitation is a collaborative communication tool used to assist communities, civic leaders, managers, community advocates, and organizations faced with conflict. These often sensitive emotionally charged and sometimes controversial community conversations are needed to resolve disputes between individuals or within/between groups in a productive, positive, and sustainable manner. Through the process of facilitative communication community cohesion and transformation occurs.
Business Experience
Renata has worked in the field of alternative dispute resolution for over 25 years. She has worked as a Transformative Community Practitioner since 1997. She’s provided mediation, coaching, training, and facilitation to workplaces, neighbors, chambers of commerce, community-based organizations, businesses, faith-based institutions, and individuals. She has worked in school and healthcare systems, non-profit organizations, homeowner associations, boards of directors, and government agencies to create and design conflict management systems and programs.
